CUSTOM OKAMI PLUSH FOR SALEby ~chupachup

I’m very excited to show off this beauty! It’s a completely handmade, hand-stitched Amaterasu (Okami) plush that my mom and I collaborated on. I did the initial sketch designs and helped with miscellaneous stitchwork (see: embroidery on photo 2), but my mom is responsible for the grand majority of this masterpiece! She created this pattern 100%, taking her about 3 weeks to complete.

I convinced her to make one of these for me because I think the official toys are rather ugly ([link]) and the rare pre-order plush from the original game always goes over $600 on ebay. So, we made one! If you saw me at Anime Expo this year, you may remember that I used it as a display piece for my table.

We got quite a bit of interest from people who wanted to buy her, so for those who are still interested, we are now taking custom orders for this cutie! Ammy is $175 + shipping ($5 USA, $10 international), custom and one of a kind, ready to you in 2-3 weeks. She is soft felt plush with plastic eyes and felt decorations; the tail is made of a different, furrier fabric and the black is painted on with fabric paint. The arm embellishments are also hand-painted with the same black fabric paint to achieve the brushstroke quality of the game art and also features delicate embroidery to replicate the swirls. Her nose is felt, both glued and stitched in, and her mouth is embroidered on. From butt to nose, she’s ~9”, ear to toe ~10.5”, and her tail is ~6” long.

Uh.. I like this, but I would suggest just listing these types of things on ebay, most people on DA wouldn't pay that much I don't think. Its really pretty thought.

AWWW... This is EVEN SWEETER when you find out it was a collab between you and your mum! I'm really happy your mum and you enjoyed this project and I hope she receives many commissions from this! If I had the money I would love to purchase one, but, alas, that is not the case. I will have to settle with admiring the craftsmanship that this one entails. <3 Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Tell your mum we love it!
