One of my biggest pet peeves is newspaper headlines/calendars that refer to this day as “Chinese New Year.” Actually, Lunar New Year is celebrated by a few other people besides the Chinese. Like, you know, the Vietnamese! Mostly, the traditions are the same, but there are some significant differences.
